Had a chance to meet with two of America’s finest, Mark “Oz” Geist and John “Tig” Tiegen whose heroic actions along with four others of their security team saved the lives of 30 in Benghazi. (Their movie 13 hours is a must-see!) Oz and Tig were in Utah over the weekend for a patriotic community celebration, these two Patriots have committed their lives to protecting Americans at home and abroad and are now relentlessly serving and supporting America’s finest returning home. Mark and his wife Krystal Geist, founded the Shadow Warriors Project, supporting veterans struggling with financial hardships and homelessness, and helping those with PTSD.
One thing I know is that nowhere in America are stronger Patriots found than in the sportsmen community. Please visit their website and support are veterans anyway you can.
Sportsmen Protecting the Homefront
I had a chance to sit down with them to discuss their concerns as American sportsmen. Oz and Tig know all about protecting American freedoms and see the threats coming from anti-sportsmen groups. Environmentalist groups are looking to replace God fearing, NRA carrying sportsmen, with wolves out West. Wolf proliferation is a significant threat to Oz and Tig and their sportsmen lifestyle. Both of whom live in Colorado and are aware of environmentalist desires in establishing large numbers of wolves in the Colorado Rockies. With their eyes, they gave me that look of stone cold purposeful instinct and direct action that I’m sure many of those in Benghazi saw as they met their demise. And replied, “not on our watch!”
That’s why they are proud BGF members and support its efforts helping States in the West regain back its control. Allowing states to protect and restore abundant big-game and common sense predator management practices, and not by the dictates coming from Federal oversight and environmental lobbyist.
BGF is now 80,000 members strong and growing, our political grassroots is a major factor in establishing lifelong positive change for conservation and sportsmen rights locally and nationally in Washington DC.
Please join us as we continue to save are abundant big game herds, and preserve our sportsmen heritage for future generations.
